"Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen." -Brene Brown
Let me introduce myself.
My name is Rachel Snarch (she/her), and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Each person I encounter carries unique life challenges, and I understand that asking for support can be a difficult step. With this in mind, my priority is to create a therapeutic environment that is warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental. Clients often describe me as approachable and easy to talk to, with humour being a natural part of our sessions. You’ll often find me cross-legged in my chair, fully engaged and present.
I deeply value your inner strength and knowledge, and I work collaboratively with you to meet your individual needs and goals.
For background, I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Counselling from the University of Ottawa and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McGill University. With over 10 years of clinical counselling experience, I actively seek professional development opportunities to ensure I stay current in the field of mental health and psychotherapy.
It would be an honour to support you on your path of self-exploration. I offer you unconditional acceptance and a safe space to land. I look forward to hearing from you.
It is an honour and privilege to live, work, and play on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
